There are so many white racists who scream that they will boycott the National Football League if the players continue to kneel during the playing of the National Anthem.
Guess what? I get it-and I agree with the players.
It’s funny when white people say that they wish professional athletes would make a moral stance, but then they go completely ape shit when they do as asked.
We all know that blacks are being murdered by American police officers everyday. There’s no disputing that fact. I can give you as many statistics as I want. However, even one is too many. Hence, I don’t want to hear the white base bitching about something that most of them have never experienced, nor would they know what to do if they did.
I know how it feels to be harassed by the police for minding my own business. It’s usually because of a sticker on my car-like Clinton or KNAC.COM, something like that.
White people need to make up their brainwashed minds. Should players make a moral stand or not? After all, they supposedly represent everyone in the community, and blacks have been made to feel invisible under the Trump regime.
It’s going to be funny when an unarmed white kid gets killed by the police. Wow, those in the gated communities going to say about what a good kid he was-whether he was or not.
All I know is that any pig who fucks with my niece is going to get his fucking ass kicked by her uncle-who already hates those Nazis as it already is. You do anything to someone who has cerebral palsy. You’re toast.
Ali was stripped of his belts as a result of this, but what was the view of the white community in 1967?
While the blacks were justifiably angry, the whites were just like Archie Bunker-and we’re seeing history repeat itself here with Colin Kaepernick.
Why should Colin Kaepernick stand for a flag which allows blacks to be murdered by the police?
Why should Colin Kaepernick stand for a flag which represents inequality and injustice?
Why should Colin Kaepernick stand for a flag which espouses bigotry under the Trump regime?
We should all kneel whenever that British drinking song is played. Conservatives, however, are so fucking stupid that they have no idea the music for this country’s national anthem was derived from a tune sung by British alcoholics-which tells you just how dumb they are.
One must admit that nearly all conservatives are racist. There’s a nice picture of Donald Trump, keeping his hands at his sides while an Uncle Tom and another Republican put their respective right hands over their chests.
As for myself, I don’t plan on standing for that rag anytime soon.
Americans with developmental disabilities are subjected to budget cuts when it’s
American soldiers who should be punished for the war crimes they committed in Iraq.
American schools are underfunded.
American children tend to get into trouble after 3 p.m. because Republicans cut the budgets on parks and libraries-which was the idea all along: to throw the poor in prison.
The American Indian populations are still having their lands exploited and stolen by business interests.
Blacks are murdered in cold blood by white cops.
Why should anyone stand for a flag which represents all of that?
Only a coward or a murderer stands for the American flag today. Those who do stand for the national anthem and the hypocritical American flag should at least put their money where their bullshit is and either buy American vehicles or shut up.
Better yet, conservatives should concern themselves with the idea of looking out for their brothers, as Jesus Christ commanded, rather than pick fights they can’t win with people they’ll never accept as equals.
Actually, liberals and those with developmental disabilities are actually a conservative’s intellectual and spiritual superior, but we’ll save that subject for another time.
You know, upon this conclusion of writing this, I just came to the realization that, once again, conservatives use this as yet another way to justify their hatred of blacks.
Even though I’m currently in suburban Denver, I grew up with the Los Angeles Rams-not realizing that they originated from Cleveland and moved to L.A. in 1946 after they won the 1945 NFL championship.
That’s strange, because teams usually move after their fanbase ditches them. These guys moved to Los Angeles not long after they won a world title.
They won another world title as the Los Angeles Rams in 1951, but then came the long drought.
The Rams either made the playoffs or were the laughing stock of the league-and I remember both extremes.
I remember when kids made fun of me in elementary school because I wore Los Angeles Rams’ jerseys; either Jack Youngblood’s 85 or Pat Haden’s 11.
I even got Pat Haden’s autograph when I was 10.
Longtime Los Angeles sportscaster, Fred Roggin, became an accidental commentator while in the course of being a sports anchor when he called the Rams ‘the Lambs’, but recovered beautifully when he said, “Well, they did play like lambs today.”
Hey, he told the truth on that one.
The Rams would either make it to a title game or they would finish near or in dead last, and it was no different when they moved to St. Louis in 1995, when they finished 7-9. The Rams finished 14-2 the season they won the Super Bowl-by one yard. However, they were in quicksand by the time they decided to move back to the beach.
Even as I watch this preseason game against the Green Bay Packers, not much has changed. They’re still the lovable losers-yeah, like I could actually do any better.
I may be in Denver. But, like, I’m from the Valley, dude!
That being stated, I’m glad the Rams-however good or bad-are back in Los Angeles, and I record the games whenever I can.
I guess part of me is still that 10-year-old kid who put on that Rams helmet in my backyard and dove into the dirt as if I were a wide receiver or tight end for Los Angeles.
However, the Rams are currently down to Green Bay 14-3 at halftime.
