This article is particularly aimed at the American right-wing business establishment.
Those of you who reprimanded us or worse because of our support for President Barack Obama (who won both of his elections via popular vote and ended his presidency with an approval rating of well over 50 percent) now want to silence our protests against a dictator who didn’t win .
You conservatives continue to cry about all the political debates on LinkedIn, but you have brought it on yourselves by doing things like turning Colin Kaepernick into a modern day American hero.
You right-wing traitors lose.
Don’t you remember how the whole situation with Muhammad Ali went down? Ali is a hero because he refused to go to Vietnam. He was willing to sacrifice his career, and he won by the end of that bell. The precedent of Muhammad Ali is why Colin Kaepernick will be vindicated and why he will play in the National Football League again.
Our Founding Fathers fought the established order of divine right with their lives, their fortunes, and their Sacred Honour, and they had more than just their lives to lose, but you Anglo white-collared professionals are simply too cowardly to do the same thing, because you conservatives are all about the eternal continuance of established order-regardless of the asking price of such maintenance.
If you right-wing hypocrites want an end to that which you complain of, stop your public admiration of Donald Trump and stop talking about politics yourselves. Furthermore, stop punishing employees who don’t share your views.
If, however, you find yourselves unable to practice what you preach here, then shut up and accept the fact that other people have different experiences and different viewpoints. We already know that you look at our Facebook activity, so that horse is already dead and between two buns at McDonald’s.
There are many reasons why employees talk about politics on LinkedIn.
Before LinkedIn, there was only the water cooler. Many parents of disabled children, for example, informed their colleagues that their child’s doctor’s appointment led to their suspension. You (the employer) overheard what was said, and the next thing everyone knew, that person was seen emptying out the desk.
You fired them.
Next came Facebook, but you, the employers, spied on your employees after they had clocked out, and workers got into trouble because you didn’t like their criticism of you behind your respective backs.
We now have LinkedIn, and those who were fired for what was said within earshot and those who were fired for what was posted against your arbitrary power on Facebook are now told to keep the political issues off of LinkedIn.
You employers brought this upon yourselves, so you are going to take our views and either agree to disagree or risk the safety of everyone in that place of employment by firing employees with whom you disagree politically.
You will be blamed if someone goes postal-and frankly, I hope someone does. It might just force to reevaluate your view on gun control.
As far as your whining about Colin Kaepernick goes, you employers are going to have to accept the reason for his protest and you are certainly going to have to accept that this is a war that you’ve already lost. Even Al and Cris on NBC, and Al, the announcer who asked Americans if they believed in miracles at the 1980 Winter Olympics, when the Americans beat the Soviets, want Trump to shut up about it.
After all, we all know you wouldn’t say a thing if Tom Brady did the same thing. However, there is one problem. Tom Brady is on the side of those his mates in the league, according to the New York Daily News.
By the way, I only see the white players standing. It’s a surprise the white players didn’t raise the right arm.
You employers have turned Colin Kaepernick into a modern day American hero and a future Hall of Famer via your refusal to agree to disagree.
You employers have transformed Colin Kaepernick into the NFL’s Jesus Christ. That’s fitting, because Jesus Christ looked like Colin Kaepernick.
