Fines for the players who kneel? It’s over, man.

By the way. Jackie Robinson didn’t stand for the anthem, either.

Remember when two of the guys on the medals stand raised their fists during the national anthem in Mexico City, 1968? The national anthem is a joke and the Pledge of Allegiance is a lie because there is no liberty or justice for African-Americans, Hispanics, American Indians, or the developmentally disabled. By the way, the music for the Star Spangled Banner was stolen from an old British drinking song which celebrated debauchery. “From Drinking Song to American Anthem Ironically, the melody Key assigned to accompany the lyrics of “The Star-Spangled Banner” was a popular English drinking song called “To Anacreon in Heaven.”

The following is from the historychannel.com

Written around 1775 by John Stafford Smith, the song honored the ancient Greek poet Anacreon, a lover of wine. It was originally performed at a London gentleman’s music club called the Anacreontic Society. The Anacreontic Song, as it was known, had a track record of popularity in the United States by 1814. In one famous case, defenders of the embattled second president, John Adams, used the tune for a song called “Adams and Liberty.”” What a joke. The music came from a tune sung by British drunks. Give me a fucking break and spare me.  Spare us all with the bullshit, ye of the right-wing.  If you right-wing hypocrites really gave half a damn about this country, you would see to it that all those poor fetuses you want to see born are adequately fed and educated, but you don’t.  Thus, fuck you.  So, spare me.  Spare us all with the bullshit, ye of the right-wing.  If you right-wing hypocrites really gave half a damn about this country, you would see to it that all those poor fetuses you want to see born are adequately fed, receive adequate medical care and you would punish polluters.  You would also see to it that the fetuses whom you wanted born received a free world-class public education but you don’t.  Thus, fuck you.

No one should stand for the music from a song which was written for a bunch of British alcoholics from over two centuries ago.  This is nothing but a wedge issue created by the Republican Party because they know their boy chest-deep in cow crap.
