There’s Only Enough Compassion For One or the Other.

Have you noticed who has been near the forefront of the repeal of Obamacare?  It’s not just the usual suspects: the insurance companies and the Republican Party.  It’s also those who need health care the most: poor white voters.

Do I feel any sympathy for them?  Why in the hell should I?

Not only did I stopped trying to educate poor whites who continue to vote for Republicans right after the 2000 election, I also began to deny them charity when W. wrecked the economy.  The way I figured it, anyone who voted against their own interests when they can ill afford to do so deserves to die in a gutter writhing in pain from a preventable disease.

Have no sympathy for Republicans or independents and realize that it’s self-destructive for any true liberal to feel compassion for idiots who vote against themselves.

That’s not very liberal of me, thou saith?

Do you know how compassionate a French liberal was in the early 1790’s? He beat the crap out of the aristocrat, conducted a mock trial, and had him staring at the sky from a basket on the wooden floor, as one is still alive, conscious, and FULLY AWARE after the execution. That being known, any “liberal” who opposes the idea of implementing this sentence on those who rob the poor and poison the electorate are more dangerous than those who wish to turn this nation into a theocratic aristocracy.

Now, THAT’S a revolution!

A liberal has only has enough compassion to help those who ask for it or for idiots who remain poor and unable afford the hospital bill, but not for both. Let the blue-collar conservative who votes Republican die slowly from illness and hunger and his take children from them so that the children have a chance at a better life, as they are only victims of the parent’s treason and stupidity.

There’s a difference between liberalism and stupidity-so, don’t be stupid. Let’s save our compassion those who ask for our help and let the “values voters” die in the street, because they refuse to be educated. Let them live the consequences of believing what Fox told them. Anyone who wants to bestow mercy upon those who will not bestow the same toward the disabled or the abused is part of what’s wrong with our political process and has no business occupying a voting booth because they demonstrate their selfishness by ‘voting with their conscience’ and too stupid to figure out that said vote produced the situation of which they will complain six months after the election.

Guess what?  That’s what we’re seeing right now.

How many of these Sandernistas are out there in the street pleading for the survival of Obamacare?  Didn’t these jackballs realize that was what was going to happen when they refused to vote for Hillary Clinton?

Has anyone seen Jill Stein or Ralph Nader?

Oh, God!  Ralph Nader!  My kingdom for a Chevrolet Corvair right now!  By the way, the Chevy Corvair’s reputation was restored in 1972 after a federal investigation, according to history.com.  This was three years after the last Corvair rolled off of the assembly line.

As for Bernie Sanders, who the hell is he to dictate how the Democratic Party should run itself when he has spent his career bashing it?  The Democratic Party goes back to the Democratic-Republican Party of Thomas Jefferson and the name was shortened by the time of Old Hickory.  It has survived 200 years of victory and turbulence.  It will certainly survive the likes of Jill Stein, Ralph Nader, and Bernie Sanders.

However, with regard to this Nazi health care bill, there’s only one way to go about this, and that is to reserve compassion for those who support the Democratic Party and let everyone else rot in the waiting room.

Let these bumpkins who hate Obamacare die right there in the street and then defecate on their corpses, because they want to ruin things for those of us who know what’s best for society, and it’s best for the least fortunate through no fault of their own to have the ability to get medical attention without going broke in the process.

I’m sure you remember those days!  How many members of your family died because the Republicans killed because they destroyed the Health Security Act?  How many of you lost your house and saw your credit rating plummet because a member of your family got sick or was hit by a car?

You know what they say about those who forget history, don’t you?

There’s only enough compassion for those who remember and for those who are innocent.  Show no mercy on the conservative who has a stroke tomorrow, because he’s the one who wants to see the old system in place, which is what the current bills in Congress really are.

Let him die.  It serves him right for eating all of those damn buttermilk biscuits and thick gravy in the first place.

Junior, 2012-2015

Junior the Pit Bull

A short summary of his shorter life.

Junior was a coffee connoisseur, beer drinker, a singer, and he tried his paws at writing after he watched me do it all the time.  He would put his paws on the keyboard and watch as they slid off.  Junior could never quite figure out why this happened to him and why I was able to continue typing without any problems, but he kept trying.

He guarded against squirrels, birds, and rabbits, chasing and barking at them all the while.

Junior was thrown out of a car in California, and eventually found his way to Colorado, where he was a scared little puppy.

Have you ever heard of a pit bull who was afraid of the dark?

Junior was.

Have you ever heard of a pit bull who needed his toy 'elphant'?

Junior did.

The funny thing was that Junior used to be so terrified that toy elephant that he would cower upon seeing it, but it actually became his little brother.  He would guard that toy elephant with his very life.  And as you just read, he was terrified of the dark.

He cried!

Junior did try to talk, and he would always sing whenever someone else sang or whenever I would play my guitars.

He would greet me at the door, after having dug under the fence.  I don't know whether Junior hated being confined or if he just saw it all as a game to be played.

As for the the white slash across his face, there's a story about that.

Junior chewed on a bottle of liquid paper which he had found, and it exploded.

That's just the kind of dog he was.

He would climb on the table and take the food.

I used to work from 11 at night until eight in the morning, I would return for meal break at three in the morning.  Junior wouldn't only steal my lunch right out of my hand, he would take the container, too.  I tried to figure out a way of how to eat without him stealing it, but the best that I could do was to make two of anything-including the coffee.

Upon his first Christmas, Junior saw the wrapping paper, and he knew that the present was for him.

He opened the present with his teeth and found a red ball, red rope, a red stocking, and some red squeak toys-those of which he completely wrecked out of sheer excitement before he looked at me as if to ask what else I had for him to play with.

Junior knew that was his present!  He knew that it was for him to play with-and he didn't have to share with anyone else!

This is why I laugh at people who insist they are so dangerous.

Does Junior look dangerous to you?

Right Back in the Waiting Room

The Republicans have now told us what their plan on health care is- to go right back where we started.

It seems safe to presume that we’re going to return to the days when people were penalized for a pre-existing condition.

No more Medicaid and no more Planned Parenthood (that’s funny, see 1 Corinthians 7).

It seems safe to presume that women are just shit out of luck with regard to birth control–which is kind of funny, since the Bible tells their constituents how a sexual relationship is supposed to be conducted.  Read Song of Solomon and 1 Corinthians 7, and don’t fuck with me.  I know the Bible better than you claim to.

I make no claim that I’m holier than anyone.  I’m a sinful motherfucker.  However, anyone who claims that this nation needs Jesus Christ had better see to it that people have options so that they don’t engage in behavior that conservatives like to regulate (all while they engage in it-David Vitter, I’m looking in your direction!).

One of the problems might be that there are Tea Party Republicans who haven’t figured out what establishment Republicans already know; that you can’t jerk it.   You have to lure the masses.  Ronald Reagan’s handlers were great at helping him do this in the 1980’s, but the problem is that Reagan wouldn’t even recognize this Republican Party today-even he would label it as extreme.  The irony is that he had to run as an independent Republican at the 1976 National Convention because he was seen as being too far to the right of Jerry Ford and Bob Dole.

Even Reagan, as evil as he was, knew that you couldn’t just end programs like Medicare.  Reagan heeded Dwight Eisenhower’s warning (even though Medicare wasn’t in existence when Eisenhower made the quote).

Who is to blame for this?

We can blame the media if we choose to, but everyone in the American news media is nothing more than a patsy, as corporations own all of the information we see on the evening news.

We can blame the system-the same system-which has worked just fine for roughly 230 years (counting back to September 17, 1787).

We can blame the churches for teaching us to fear rather than to think for ourselves.

Or, we could blame you for not paying attention, not knowing the difference between the two major political parties, for wasting your vote on third parties, and not seeking out alternative sources of information-and by that I do not mean Russia Today.  I mean The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, BBC, and CBC.

I remember when Sicko premiered in theaters.  It was released during the W. regime.  Do you remember that film?  Maybe you should watch it so that you will know exactly what’s going to happen again.  All of this while the Republicans slash taxes for the rich at the same time, according to the MSNBC report, which was released at 3:34 Eastern Time.

Here is an upload of the Senate’s bill, courtesy of MSNBC.

REPUBLICAN SENATE’S BILL

We had this worked out.  This was challenged in the Supreme Court twice.  You had better hope this replacement fails, because you’re going to find yourself right back in the waiting room.
